- קְצוּצְתָּאf. (v. preced. wds.) 1) timber, cut board, plank. B. Kam.67a דמעיקרא ק׳וכ׳ Ms. R. (ed. קְצִיצְתָּא; Ms. H. קְצַצְ׳) before (it was made a trough) it was called plank, and now tsinnora.Pl. קְצוּצְיָיתָה, קְצוּצְיָיתָא. Ib. 96a stolen beams עבדינהו קצ׳ (Ms. R. קְצוּצָתָא; Ms. H. קְצַצְיָיתָא) which he cut into planks. 2) (comp. כְּשוֹרָא) slice.Pl. קְצוּצְוָתָא. Gen. R. s. 79 הוה מקצץ … ושדי קְצוּצְוָתֵיהוכ׳ (‘Rashi, קְצִיצָתֵיה; Matt. K. קְצוּצָתֵיה) he cut a lupine and threw its slices about ; Yalk. ib. 133 והוה קצרן … קִיצּוּצְוָתֵיה (corr. acc.)
